I received my Master of Science degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2005. While in graduate school, I was an AmeriCorps fellow and served at a residential treatment facility for adolescents struggling with histories of abuse, neglect, and trauma. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in Psychology and Art.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas. I am also a registered, Board-Certified Art Therapist and an Advanced Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I love learning, and have completed advanced training at The Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington.

I grew up in Olathe, Kansas, and after moving around a bit, I have come home to stay. I love to be with my family–the true loves of my life–which includes my husband, our kids, and our cat. Our home is my favorite place to spend time.

I am a creative person, and enjoy making things and exploring new places and ideas. I love to be active, which is why I enjoy non-traditional therapy at work. I enjoy getting to know people and what they care about; being a therapist is truly the best job I could ever imagine!
